Inspiration from the seed
Mark 4 – talks about the Sower and the Seed, and the Mustard Seed, that grows when it is sown into good ground, and takes root.
Here I have chosen the sunflower which grows from a seed, and produces many seeds. It’s interesting how the Sunflower tracks the sun, or turns its head/face to the sun, reminding us to always look towards the Son, Jesus Christ.

Mark 4:30-33 The Parable of the Mustard Seed (NKJV)
30 Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? 31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; 32 but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”
33 And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it.
Ephesians 3:17-19
Living Bible
17 And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvellous love; 18-19 and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God Himself.
Colossians 2:7
Living Bible
7 Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done.”
