Your Grace will Light My Way

Oh hear my cry Lord, lift my eyes
and bring your mercy through
But I will trust Your steadfast love
Your Grace will light my way’.
I see the pathway and row/repetition of trees leading us in. Trees are getting smaller and softer as they go into the distance. I love the overhanging branches and dappled leaves in the light. It reminds me of God’s covering of Grace and beauty.
I see the leaves on the pathway, and I think of the wind or the gentle breeze blowing and of the changing seasons: and how God removes things, old dead things, yet a beauty remains, ready for the next season, knowing His amazing steadfast love and grace in our journey (path) of life. Interestingly, in the image above, there is a lamp post or telephone pole, barely seen, amidst the row of trees. This encourages us to stop and have a conversation with Jesus, knowing that His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, giving us hope, freedom, wisdom and grace to know Him more and carry on.

Inspiration: Mark 4 – talks about the Sower and the Seed, and the Mustard Seed, that grows when it is sown into good ground, and takes root.
Further Inspiration: Sunflowers
It’s interesting how the Sunflower tracks the sun, or turns its face to the sun, reminding us to always look towards the Son, Jesus Christ for our nurture and growth.

John 4 The Samaritan woman meets the Messiah.
The Samaritan woman brought her water jar to fill up at the well. She meets Jesus, has deep conversation with Him. ‘She left her water jar behind, and became the jar filled with Living Water’.

Light Love & Truth
1 Jn 1:5-2:1 says we have an Advocate, Jesus, His blood to walk in His Light.
1 Jn 2:14 says strength/overcoming, because the Word of God abides in us.
1 John 2:20, 27 says we have an anointing from Holy One, to teach, to discern truth & error.
1 Jn 3:23-24 says believe, love one another, keep His commandments/truth.
1 Jn 4:12-16 says we have His Love, His Son, His Spirit in us.
Surrounded by His Presence
