Scriptures
John 1:16 “And out of His fullness we have all received grace upon grace”
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that you, always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work”.
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path”.
Some Reflections
I see the pathway and row/repetition of trees leading us in. Trees are getting smaller and softer as they go into the distance. I love the overhanging branches and dappled leaves in the light. It reminds me of God’s covering of Grace and beauty.
I see the leaves on the pathway, and I think of the wind or the gentle breeze blowing and of the changing seasons: and how God removes things, old dead things, yet a beauty remains, ready for the next season, knowing His amazing steadfast love and grace in our journey (path) of life.
Interestingly, in the image above, there is a lamp post or telephone pole amidst the row of trees. This encourages us to stop and have a conversation with Jesus, knowing that His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, giving us hope, freedom, wisdom and grace to know Him more and carry on.
